There are even ways to incorporate chia seeds into meat recipes. Take about half a pound of lean ground beef, a finely diced onion, egg, a cup of tomato paste, two teaspoons of garlic powder, two tablespoons of ground chia seeds, and a teaspoon of dried oregano. Mix all of the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Take the mixture and form into small balls. Then cook the meatballs over medium-high heat in a nonstick pan for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until cooked through it.
